Material Coordinator

We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Material Coordinator to support smooth material flow in a busy manufacturing environment. You’ll help manage shipping logistics, maintain inventory accuracy, and work closely with internal teams and vendors to resolve customer inquiries. Location: Mundelein, IL

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM
(On-call rotation after fully trained, remote based) 

Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour

Duties:

• Support the scheduling of materials for shipping and assist in managing trucking logistics.

• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to address customer inquiries and basic quality concerns.

• Compare, organize, and file invoices and receipts accurately.

• Run daily inventory and material usage reports, and assist in regular inventory audits.

• Maintain accurate system entries to support inventory control and operational processes.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• 0–2 years of experience in manufacturing, shipping, or materials handling.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

• Preferred: Stand-up forklift certification, RF scanning experience, or JDE knowledge.
