Cargo Handler

Location: Oakdale PA 15017 

Schedule: 3rd Shift - 7 DAYS A WEEK!!!

Pay rate: $21.01

 Duties:

1. Safely load and unload freight from trucks and trailers, using approved equipment and following proper procedures. 

2. Accurately stage freight and audit next/day route loads (ensuring trailers are prepped and freight is organized for upcoming shipments).

3. Use handheld scanners or other tracking systems to scan, label, check/in freight, verify documentation and freight condition.

4. Maintain a clean, safe work environment; handle damaged freight (recoup/restore) and perform related warehouse duties (e.g., disposing of packaging, sorting materials) as assigned.

Requirements:

1. Ability to perform frequent physical tasks: lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying freight (often heavy items) throughout the shift.

2. Basic written and verbal communication skills, ability to follow instructions, perform basic math/counting, and work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
