1st shift Sign Procurement Specialist

Position Title: Purchasing Assistant
Location: Denton, Texas
Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week)
Schedule: Four 10-hour days, Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in sourcing and purchasing materials, components, and supplies for sign production.

• Communicate with vendors to obtain quotes, confirm pricing, and monitor order status.

• Track inventory levels and coordinate restocking of critical items.

• Prepare and process purchase orders within the company’s procurement system.

• Support the production team by ensuring materials are available when needed.

• Maintain accurate records of suppliers, pricing, and delivery information.

• Assist in evaluating vendor performance and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

• Collaborate with accounting to verify invoices and resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or technical training preferred.

• Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills (Excel, Word, ERP systems).

• Basic understanding of purchasing or supply chain processes (preferred but notrequired).

•  Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

•  Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

• Willingness to learn procurement software and internal systems.
