Location: Kenosha, WI

2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 1:30 PM – 12:00 AM
Pay Rate:

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Material Handler/Picker to join our fabrication department. The ideal candidate will have experience in a metal manufacturing or radiator production environment, with strong knowledge of material flow, inventory handling, and safe equipment operation. This position plays a key role in ensuring production lines stay supplied and organized for smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Material Handling & Inventory:

Safely load, unload, move, and stage materials throughout the fabrication department.

Use pallet jacks, forklifts, or other material handling equipment to transport metal components, radiator parts, and finished goods.

Accurately pick materials and components according to work orders, production schedules, and blueprints.

Verify material quantities, part numbers, and job accuracy before delivery to work areas.
Production Support:

Maintain a steady material flow to fabrication and welding stations.

Assist with stock replenishment, inventory tracking, and labeling.

Communicate effectively with team leads to support workflow and minimize downtime.

Assist in loading and preparing parts for internal transfers or shipments.
Quality & Safety:

Follow all safety policies and PPE requirements while handling metal components.

Inspect materials for defects or damage prior to movement or storage.

Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
Documentation & Accuracy:

Complete move tickets, inventory logs, and material usage forms accurately.

Report discrepancies or shortages immediately to supervisors.

Support continuous improvement by identifying and reporting workflow issues.
Qualifications:
-
2+ years of experience as a Material Handler, Picker, or Warehouse Associate (experience in fabrication or metal manufacturing preferred).

Forklift certification or ability to become certified.

Familiarity with sheet metal, stainless steel, aluminum, and related materials.

Ability to read and interpret work orders, labels, and job tickets.

Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.

Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
