1st Shift Trailer Assembler

Position Overview:

The Trailer Assembler performs multiple tasks using a variety of hand-held tools, pneumatic/power tools and manufacturing equipment. Trailer Assemblers build component assemblies, as well as install and assemble trailers on a production line.

Location: Mesquite, TX

Schedule: 1st Shift Monday-Thursday 6 AM- 4:30 PM

Pay rate: $14

 Duties:

• Install axles, tires, wiring, lights, and other components according to work orders and factory specifications.
• Ensure accurate fitment and proper assembly.
• Perform mechanical tasks following supervisor instructions.
• Adhere to safety standards and maintain a clean work environment.
• Test equipment for proper functionality.
• Perform multiple manual assembly tasks and retain knowledge for future tasks.

Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience operating hand tools such as torque wrenches, drills, hole saws, screw guns, and pliers.
• Comfortable performing repetitive motions, including bending, climbing, standing, and stooping.
• At least 1 year of experience in electrical assembly.
• 1 year of mechanical and/or electrical experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English. 
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
