Are you skilled with tools, mechanically inclined, and ready to take on hands-on challenges? We’re looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team on the east side of Indianapolis. In this role, you’ll be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks that keep our facility and equipment operating smoothly.

Location: East Side of Indianapolis
Pay Rate: $22.00 – $25.00/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Work Environment: Normal temperature facility

Job Summary

As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll use your mechanical, welding, and troubleshooting skills to repair, maintain, and improve facility equipment. You’ll work with a variety of systems and tools to ensure that all machinery and building operations are safe, efficient, and reliable.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production and facility equipment
• Use MIG welding to repair or fabricate parts and equipment as needed
• Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues in a timely manner
• Assist with plumbing, wiring, and low-voltage systems as needed
• Conduct inspections to ensure all equipment meets safety and performance standards
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation
• Follow all company safety procedures and lockout/tagout policies
• Assist with facility improvement projects or new equipment installations
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and other departments to minimize downtime

What You’ll Need

• Proven MIG welding experience required
• Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to diagnose and repair equipment issues
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, wiring, and low-voltage electrical systems
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the day
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
• Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
