Pay rate: $18.50/hr

JOB DESCRIPTION

Duties & Responsibilities

• Receive inbound freight: unload/load trucks, manual handling, verify paperwork, weigh/measure freight, and report discrepancies or damages.

• Operate stand-up/sit-down forklifts and hand jacks.

• Palletize cargo; stretch-wrap/band as needed.

• Unload/load trailers and ocean containers safely and damage-free.

• Prepare outbound loads: match paperwork, label freight, prep/handle ULDs.

• Sign off Bills of Lading accurately; verify counts and damages.

• Stage cargo safely and maintain warehouse organization.

• Use booking-in sheets or Warehouse Management System for tracking and organization.

• Maintain warehouse cleanliness (sweeping, consolidating product, inventory upkeep).

• Follow all SOPs, including reworking/recouping freight when needed.

• Handle logistics accounts: picking, packing, inventory reporting/stock checks.

• Site Specific: Weekly bond checks; DFT procedures; perimeter security; ERTS bonded freight handling and ULD breakdown.

• Perform other duties as needed.
   

Qualifications

Required:

• BG and STA Screening
• Drug Screening 
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Site Specific: Ability to work flexible hours/day
• High school diploma or GED
