Maintenance Mechanic / CNC Machine Operator – 1st Shift

Location: Franklin Park, IL

Schedule: 1st Shift | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Pay Rate: $26/hour

About the Role
We’re seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Mechanic / CNC Machine Operator. This position involves performing routine maintenance on equipment, operating CNC machinery, and assisting with production tasks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and experienced in maintenance and machine operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on production equipment and machinery.

• Operate CNC machines accurately and efficiently according to production specifications.

• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Assist production leads with workflow and production support as needed.

• Work mandatory overtime and weekends as required to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Experience: 1–2 years in maintenance, manufacturing, or CNC machine operation.

• Skills:

  • Proficient with machine maintenance and CNC equipment.

  • Ability to read and follow instructions accurately.

  • Strong attention to detail and quality.

  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work mandatory overtime.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
