Job Description
Job Location: Brooklyn NY
Pay Rate: $24-$28/hr
Key Responsibilities

Maintain Culinary Consistency: Ensure all menu items are prepared according to established guidelines, including correct measurements, cooking methods, and portion accuracy.

Food Safety & Compliance Oversight: Monitor sanitation standards, GMP practices, and food safety controls throughout preparation, cooling, and storage processes.

Recipe Review & Process Alignment: Evaluate recipes to confirm they meet operational standards, including yield accuracy, portion sizing, and preparation methods. Identify inconsistencies and work with kitchen leadership to improve repeatability and efficiency.

Team Training & Skill Development: Support onboarding and ongoing training related to food handling, cleanliness, kitchen procedures, and emergency response.

Performance Tracking & Improvement: Assist in monitoring production metrics, workflow efficiency, and quality benchmarks to support continuous operational improvement.
Qualifications

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-driven kitchen environment

1–3 years of experience in a lead, trainer, or supervisory culinary role

Culinary school training or professional certification preferred

Solid understanding of cooking techniques, food production processes, and kitchen operations

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Effective communicator who can guide, coach, and support team members

High attention to detail and commitment to food quality and safety standards

Availability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
