Position: Warehouse Order Selector
Pay Rate: Up to $19.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Interview and Testing Requirements:

• All candidates must attend an in-person interview.

• Candidates are required to complete a Ride-On Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ) skills assessment.

Resume Requirements:

• Documented experience operating a ride-on Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ).

• Experience with order picking and packing.

• Familiarity with inventory management, receiving, and using handheld scanners.

• All employment gaps must be addressed and explained in the resume.

Position Summary:
The Warehouse Order Selector is responsible for accurately selecting, labeling, and palletizing products for customer orders using a ride-on Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ). This role includes transporting completed pallets to the dock for shipment. Work is performed in environments with varying temperatures. Attention to detail, safe equipment operation, and teamwork are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a ride-on Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ) to navigate warehouse aisles and select products.

• Pick items for customer orders according to pick sheets or scanner instructions.

• Label and organize products for accurate order fulfillment.

• Palletize products securely for safe transport and delivery to the dock area.

• Use handheld scanners to track inventory and order progress.

• Assist with receiving and inventory management as required.

• Maintain a clean and safe work area by following all safety procedures and protocols.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience, including operation of a ride-on EPJ.

• Experience with order picking, packing, inventory, receiving, and scanner use.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Professional Skills:

• Safe and efficient operation of a ride-on Electric Pallet Jack.

• Strong attention to detail for accurate order selection and labeling.

• Organizational skills for palletizing and staging orders.

• Basic computer and scanner literacy.

• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly; heavier items may require assistance.

• Frequent standing, walking, reaching, bending, and twisting throughout the shift.

• Capability to safely operate warehouse equipment for extended periods.

Working Conditions:

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM.

• Occasional overtime may be required to meet operational demands.

• Work occurs in environments with varying temperatures, including refrigerated and dry storage areas.

• Adherence to all safety protocols and use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory.
