Production Technician

Location: New Brunswick, NJ
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $22–$26/hour (based on experience)

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Technician to support manufacturing operations by producing high-quality pigment dispersions and related materials. This role involves operating production equipment, handling materials, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and collaborating with multiple departments to ensure smooth production flow.

Essential Job Functions

• Operate production equipment to produce quality pigment dispersions in accordance with standard operating procedures

• Operate within a defined production area to create support materials contributing to final manufactured products

• Assemble boxes, apply labels, and move skids of materials using material handling equipment

• Clean floors, tanks, and production equipment on a regular basis

• Interact with other departments to share information and support efficient process flow

• Follow detailed work instructions to meet customer and quality requirements

• Comply with all safety procedures and required safety training

• Complete monthly DuPont training modules, cybersecurity training, and other company-mandated training

• Immediately report any unsafe conditions or behaviors to leadership

• Communicate effectively throughout all phases of the production process, including coordination with shipping & receiving, quality control, maintenance, leadership, and human resources as needed

• Perform both verbal and written communication

• Operate material handling equipment, including hoists and sit-down and stand-up forklifts

• Lift up to 55 lbs repeatedly

• Meet required basic skills for language, reasoning, math, and physical demands

• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED/equivalent

• Ability to maintain certification for operating all three types of plant industrial trucks and elevated platforms

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Basic proficiency in MS Office and basic math skills
