Warehouse Associate / Material Handler

UPDATED PAY RATE: $20.90/hour
Schedule: Sunday – Thursday, 5:00 PM – 1:30 AM
Mandatory OT: Until 3:30 AM when required

Equipment Used

• Double-length Rider Pallet Jack

  • Candidates with experience on a ride-on pallet jack (single length) can be trained

  • Manual pump jack–only experience is not sufficient

Job Summary

This role is responsible for picking, packing, and shipping merchandise to customers in local and outlying areas. Candidates must be comfortable operating warehouse equipment and performing physical tasks throughout the shift.

Essential Duties

• Receive and stock merchandise

• Process returned merchandise

• Prepare “Via” merchandise for shipment

• Perform cycle counts and PIP report counting

• Move merchandise from reserve locations to pick slots

• Pick manual orders

• Assemble and verify pre-packs

• Perform housekeeping duties as assigned

• Operate forklift and pallet jack

• Use PC/Data Terminal systems for Returns and UPS processing

All duties require the ability to lift 40–60 lbs repeatedly per shift, as well as bending, stooping, climbing, standing, and twisting for extended periods of time.

Experience & Skills Required

• Ability to lift 40–60 pounds repeatedly

• Experience operating forklift, pallet jack, and cherry picker

• Experience using RF (Radio Frequency) scanners

• Ability to operate shrink wrap machines

• Ability to successfully complete forklift training/certification

• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
