Inspector Operator

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inspector Operator to support safe, efficient, and continuous manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for candidates with prior machine operation experience who are looking to grow into advanced operator roles.

Location: Mundelein, IL
Schedule: 2-2-3, 12 hour schedule on days (6:00AM-6:00PM) or nights (6:00PM-6:00AM). Must be available to work weekends and Holidays.
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

• Starting Pay: $17.00 per hour
• Upon Conversion to Full-Time: $22.00 per hour
• Future Growth: Eligible for a step-progression program with increases up to $27.00 per hour based on performance and tenure

Essential Job Duties:

• Start up and shut down production equipment safely and according to standard operating procedures
• Operate computer systems to monitor and adjust process variables
• Inspect raw materials and finished products to ensure quality and compliance
• Conduct visual inspections while monitoring equipment and process conditions
• Communicate production updates through shift logs and ensure proper shift handoff
• Train and support new Inspector Operators within the department
• Reinforce safety, environmental, and operational standards at all times
• Report incidents, near misses, or safety/environmental concerns immediately
• ???????Acquire ongoing knowledge of equipment, instrumentation, and operating processes.
• ???????Communicate effectively with Operators and Maintenance teams regarding shift activity and potential fixes.
