Press Brake Operator

Position Overview

The Press Brake Operator is responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend, shape, and form metal sheets according to specifications. This role requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Location: Mesquite, TX

Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM 

Pay rate: $16

 Duties:

• Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, cut, and shape metal parts.

• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules to ensure accurate fabrication.

• Adjust machine settings, including pressure, back gauge, and ram depth, for optimal performance.

• Inspect finished parts for accuracy, making necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards.

• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.

• Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

• Experience operating press brake machines or similar metal fabrication equipment.

• Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive motions, including bending, standing, and lifting.

• Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions.
