Job Description

We are seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician I to provide mechanical and electrical support within a dairy processing and manufacturing facility. This is an entry-level to mid-level maintenance role ideal for candidates with manufacturing maintenance experience who are comfortable working independently to support plant operations and equipment reliability.


Location: Tempe, AZ!

Schedule: Sunday – Wednesday | 4:00 PM – 2:00 AM
4/10 schedule (Thursday, Friday, Saturday off)

Pay Rate: Up to $32.00/hr (based on experience)


Duties:

  • Conduct walkthroughs and assessments of plant equipment during operation and downtime

  • Perform routine mechanical and electrical repairs on manufacturing equipment

  • Complete preventative and corrective maintenance as required

  • Troubleshoot malfunctioning or out-of-service equipment

  • Provide mechanical assistance to plant operators as needed

  • Monitor and maintain plant systems and subsystems to support production

  • Support shift coverage and operational needs as directed


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing or production environment (food manufacturing preferred)

  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude

  • Working knowledge of engineering principles related to plant operations

  • Experience with equipment such as homogenizers, blow molds, and electrical distribution systems (480V / 60Hz / 3-phase)

  • Welding experience

  • Knowledge of boiler operations, refrigeration and cooling systems, air compressors, fluid heat exchangers, and electrical/electronic controls

  • Familiarity with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures

  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles
