Inventory Supervisor

Location: Romeoville, IL
Shift: 6AM-2:30PM
Pay Rate: $33.24/hour

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Operations Inventory Supervisor. This role oversees inventory control and daily warehouse operations to ensure accurate stock levels, efficient material flow, and compliance with safety and quality standards. This role partners closely with operations, shipping, and receiving teams to support productivity, accuracy, and on-time distribution.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise inventory control processes including receiving, put-away, cycle counts, audits, and adjustments

• Ensure inventory accuracy through regular counts and system reconciliation

• Monitor inbound and outbound inventory movement to prevent shortages, overages, and delays

• Collaborate with Operations, Shipping, and Receiving teams to support daily workflow

• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and root causes

• Train and coach warehouse associates on inventory procedures and best practices

• Enforce safety, quality, and compliance standards at all times

• Support process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce inventory loss

• Prepare inventory reports and communicate findings to leadership

Qualifications

• 2+ years of inventory or warehouse supervisory experience (logistics/distribution preferred)

• Strong understanding of inventory control, cycle counting, and warehouse operations

• Experience using WMS, ERP, or inventory management systems

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Ability to lead, coach, and motivate warehouse teams

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced distribution environment

• Cherry Picker & Reach Truck Forklift Experience
