Operations Supervisor

Location: Romeoville, IL
Shift: 4PM-12:30AM
Pay Rate: $33.24/hour

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Operations Supervisor. This role oversees daily warehouse operations with a focus on order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, and team performance. This role ensures efficient workflow execution, on-time order completion, and compliance with safety and quality standards while leading and developing a team of warehouse associates.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily area operations, including order fulfillment, picking, packing, and related warehouse activities

• Lead, schedule, and manage a team of warehouse associates to meet productivity, quality, and service goals

• Ensure accurate inventory handling, tracking, and reconciliation within the assigned area

• Coordinate workflow with Operations, Inventory Control, Shipping, and Receiving teams

• Monitor order accuracy, throughput, and operational performance metrics

• Identify and resolve operational issues, shortages, and inventory discrepancies

• Train, coach, and develop team members on standard operating procedures and safety practices

• Enforce warehouse safety, quality, and compliance standards

• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce errors

• Prepare and review daily reports related to labor, output, and inventory
   

Qualifications

• 2+ years of supervisory experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment

• Strong knowledge of order fulfillment, inventory control, and warehouse operations

• Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment

• Experience using WMS/ERP systems and operational reporting tools

• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Forklift or powered industrial equipment experience preferred
