Job Description
Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Hiram, GA
Pay: $38.00/ hr
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our operations team in Hiram, GA. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility and production equipment to ensure smooth operations and minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyors, motors, packaging machines, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
  • Inspect and complete minor repairs on building systems, including lighting, HVAC, plumbing, and fire suppression systems
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime
  • Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment or facility upgrades
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and repair documentation
  • Follow and enforce safety policies, including lockout/tagout procedures
  • Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to resolve recurring equipment issues
  • Support 5S and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Participate in on-call or weekend maintenance coverage as needed
What You’ll Need:
  • Proven MIG welding experience required, including repairing industrial equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair equipment issues
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, wiring, and low-voltage electrical systems
  • Ability to safely and effectively use hand and power tools
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet throughout the workday
  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
  • Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
