We are hiring a 1st Shift Coordinator for a fast-paced cold storage food facility on the southeast side of Indianapolis. This role is ideal for a dependable, detail-oriented leader with experience in food production, picking/packing, or warehouse coordination who is comfortable working in a cold environment and supporting daily operations.

Position Details

Title: 1st Shift Coordinator

Pay Rate: $21.00/hour

Schedule: Sunday – Thursday

Hours: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Location: Southeast Indianapolis

Environment: Cold storage / food production facility

What You’ll Be Doing

Coordinate and support daily picking and packing operations for food products

Act as a point of contact between associates and site leadership

Ensure associates are following GMPs, food safety, and company policies

Monitor attendance, productivity, and workflow throughout the shift

Assist with onboarding, training, and coaching associates as needed

Maintain organization, cleanliness, and safety standards on the floor

Address issues in real time and escalate concerns appropriately

Help ensure orders are completed accurately and on time

What We’re Looking For

Prior experience in a warehouse, food production, or cold storage environment

Experience leading, coordinating, or supporting a team is strongly preferred

Comfortable working in a cold environment for the full shift

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Reliable, punctual, and able to set a positive example for the team

Ability to stand, walk, and be active throughout the shift
