Heavy Assembler II – 2nd Shift
Shift: Monday – Thursday | 1:30 PM – 12:00 AM
Experience Required: 3–5 years
Position Type: Full-Time
Job Summary
The Heavy Assembler II is responsible for assembling large, complex components and subassemblies using hand and power tools while following detailed work instructions, blueprints, and safety standards. This role requires a high level of mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities

Assemble heavy and complex mechanical components according to blueprints, schematics, and work orders.

Operate hand tools, power tools, torque tools, and measuring devices safely and accurately.

Read and interpret technical drawings, assembly instructions, and bills of materials.

Perform quality checks to ensure assemblies meet specifications and standards.

Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues or escalate concerns as needed.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with safety guidelines.

Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and production schedules.

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.

Accurately complete required documentation and production records.
Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in heavy assembly, manufacturing, or industrial assembly.

Strong mechanical aptitude and experience assembling large or heavy components.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics.

Proficient with hand and power tools.

Basic math and measuring skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong attention to detail and quality.
Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (with or without assistance).

Ability to stand, bend, twist, and reach for extended periods.

Comfortable working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
