Material Handler / Picker – 2nd Shift

Shift: Monday – Thursday | 1:30 PM – 12:00 AM

Job Summary

The Material Handler / Picker is responsible for accurately picking, staging, and moving materials throughout the facility to support production and shipping operations. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick materials, parts, and products accurately according to pick lists or work orders.

• Stage materials for production, assembly, or shipping.

• Move materials manually or using material handling equipment as required.

• Verify part numbers, quantities, and condition of materials.

• Maintain accurate inventory counts and report discrepancies.

• Label, package, and prepare materials for internal transfer or shipment.

• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.

• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

• Communicate shortages, damages, or issues to supervisors.

Qualifications

• Previous material handling, picking, or warehouse experience preferred.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

• Basic math and counting skills.

• Strong attention to detail and reliability.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive tasks.
