Maintenance Technician – 1st Shift
Shift: Monday – Friday | 5:30 AM – 1:30 PM
Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour
Position Type: Full-Time
Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment, machinery, and facility systems to ensure safe and efficient operations. This role requires strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and the ability to work independently in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities

Perform routine preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.

Diagnose equipment failures and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.

Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation.

Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.

Support equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications.

Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Communicate equipment issues and repair status to supervisors and production teams.
Qualifications
-
Previous maintenance technician or industrial maintenance experience required.

Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

Experience with conveyors, motors, pumps, and production machinery preferred.

Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, and technical documentation.

Basic computer skills for maintenance tracking.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, climb, and kneel for extended periods.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to work in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
