Job Summary
The Warehouse Planner Coordinator (WPC) is a vital part of a professional distribution team and supports the operation of a fast-paced, high-volume distribution center. This role assists with TL, LTL, and courier shipments and collaborates with internal teams to manage incoming and outgoing orders and transfers to meet client and customer requirements.
Location: Lewisville, TX
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
Pay Rate: $18.51
Essential Job Functions

Use company and/or client software systems to manage incoming and outgoing orders and transfers.

Assign daily workloads for DC employees in accordance with service and quality standards.

Complete all required shipping and customs documentation for truckload and courier shipments to ensure timely delivery.

Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment requiring frequent adjustments to priorities and workloads.

Provide instructions to drivers as needed.

Once cross-trained, provide coverage and support for other WPCs during absences.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met and order or transfer issues are resolved promptly.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication to ensure requirements are met.

Assist with customer complaint investigations and related processes.

Evenly distribute workloads to maintain consistent employee productivity.

Organize and file paperwork daily to ensure accessibility and accuracy.

Complete select monthly reports as assigned.

Follow all safety, security, and company policies and guidelines.

Complete required safety training within designated timeframes and apply safety practices accordingly.

Utilize tools and equipment as trained, stopping work when unsafe and exercising Stop Work Authority when necessary.

Maintain regular attendance and punctuality; overtime may be required.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED and/or equivalent experience.
-
Experience in a warehouse or similar environment; inventory, wave planning, or customer service experience is helpful.

Strong planning, organizational, and multitasking skills.

Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships.
-
Ability to follow procedures and work instructions with strong attention to detail.
-
Effective verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.

Proficiency in office equipment and computer systems (Microsoft Word, Excel, Windows) and ability to learn client software.

Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Physical & Work Environment Demands

Ability to lift and stack products weighing 5 to 75 pounds.

Push carts of materials with light to moderate force.

Ability to sit, stand, reach, bend, lift, and walk for extended periods with moderate to high frequency.

Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work environment may be hot in the summer and cold in the winter; this position is not temperature-controlled.

Must be able to work additional hours as needed.
