Job Title: Fabrication Machine Operator / Mazak Laser Operator – 2nd Shift

Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday – Thursday | 1:30 PM – 12:00 AM

Pay Rate: $26.00/hour

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Fabrication Machine Operator / Mazak Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team on 2nd shift. This role is responsible for operating Mazak laser cutting equipment to fabricate metal components while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate Mazak laser cutting machines

• Load and unload raw materials and finished parts

• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production specifications

• Monitor machine performance and make basic adjustments as needed

• Inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met

• Perform routine maintenance and keep work area clean and organized

• Follow all safety policies and procedures

• Meet daily production goals and deadlines

• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating Mazak laser machines required

• Fabrication or metal manufacturing experience preferred

• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools (calipers, tape measures, micrometers)

• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as required

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
