Job Summary
The Forklift Driver is responsible for accurately picking, staging, and moving materials throughout the facility to support production and shipping operations. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Pick materials, parts, and products accurately according to pick lists or work orders.
Stage materials for production, assembly, or shipping.
Move materials manually or using material handling equipment as required.
Verify part numbers, quantities, and condition of materials.
Maintain accurate inventory counts and report discrepancies.
Label, package, and prepare materials for internal transfer or shipment.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Communicate shortages, damages, or issues to supervisors.
Qualifications
Previous material handling, picking, or warehouse experience preferred.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Basic math and counting skills.
Strong attention to detail and reliability.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive tasks.
