Quality Inspector

We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to ensure products meet quality standards and support production processes. Candidates should have prior quality experience and be comfortable working in an environment where respirators and chemical handling are required.

Pay: Starting at $18/hr, based on experience
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 3:30pm–2:00am
Location: North Chicago, IL
 

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inspections on products and materials following quality standards and work instructions.

• Document results, report defects/nonconformities, and assist in problem-solving.

• Use measurement tools, visual inspection techniques, and basic documentation systems.

• Safely work with chemicals and wear PPE, including a respirator, as required.

• Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

• Support continuous improvement and quality compliance efforts.

Requirements

• Prior Quality Inspection or Quality Assurance experience preferred.

• Ability to wear a respirator throughout the shift.

• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.

• Must be able to read and comprehend English for safety and work instructions.

• Must be comfortable working with chemicals and following strict safety protocols.

• Must obtain steel-toe shoes and comply with all dress-code requirements.

• Reliable attendance, strong work ethic, and adherence to all performance policies.
