Quality Control Inspector (1st Shift)
Location: Pingree Grove
Company: Midway Staffing
Shift: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM + Overtime
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to support production operations by ensuring products meet established specifications and quality standards. This role is critical to maintaining process control and product integrity during production startup and ongoing runs.
Key Responsibilities

Perform initial inspections during production run startups

Monitor control plan characteristics on assigned production equipment

Inspect finished and in-process materials to verify compliance with quality standards

Use calipers and precision measuring tools accurately

Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records

Identify non-conforming materials and communicate issues promptly
Requirements

Experience using calipers and basic measurement tools

Understanding of quality control principles

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Strong attention to detail

Basic data entry skills

Ability to work overtime as needed
