Battery Technician/ Assembly (Entry Level)

Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

We are hiring a Battery Maintenance & Refurbishment Technician to support EV battery service operations in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities

• Perform EV battery disassembly and refurbishment

• Safely de-energize battery systems following established safety protocols

• Inspect and test electrical components and connections

• Replace defective parts and verify proper operation

• Safely handle and contain battery fluids

• Record production and maintenance data in the Alfred CMMS system

• Sort, package, and prepare components for shipment or reuse

• Follow all PPE and safety requirements

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED

• 1–2 years of manufacturing, assembly, automotive, or technical repair experience

• Experience using hand and power tools

• Basic computer skills (data entry and email)

• Ability to read and follow written instructions

• Strong safety awareness and attention to quality

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 65 lbs independently (137 lbs with team assistance)

• Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting

• Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
