Summary: The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for performing equipment repairs, preventative maintenance, and new equipment installations to support the manufacturing of consumer pressure washers, generators, and water pumps.

Location: Mesquite, TX

Schedule: Monday–Saturday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Pay Rate: $17–$18 per hour

Key Responsibilities

A typical day may include the following (no two days are the same):

• Ensure equipment uptime metrics are met for manufacturing and facility equipment

• Troubleshoot and repair:

  • Pneumatic and hydraulic systems (seals, hoses, cylinders, solenoid valves, hydraulic pumps)

  • Motors, drive chains, sprockets, sheaves, pulleys, rollers, conveyor belts, bearings, and transfer plates

  • Basic electrical systems including simple circuits, 3-phase power systems, motor controls, AC/DC drives, PLCs, and servo drive systems

• Use a digital multimeter to diagnose faulty wiring, blown fuses, switches, terminals, circuit boards, breakers, and photoelectric controls

• Provide electrical services including running conduit, installing/disconnecting junction boxes and fuse boxes, and replacing breakers

• Safely operate shop equipment such as cutoff saws, drill presses, bench grinders, hydraulic presses, vertical band saws, arc welders, acetylene torches, and hand tools

• Assist in other operational areas as needed to support staffing shortages or absences

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering Technology preferred

  • High school diploma with related work experience will be considered

• Electrical Apprentice or Journeyman license preferred (not required)

• 1-2 years of manufacturing maintenance experience preferred

• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Self-motivated and able to work independently

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Proven ability to support process improvement initiatives

• Strong commitment to safety

• Forklift experience preferred (not required)

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
