• 2nd Shift: $17.00/hour | 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM

Job Description

We are currently hiring experienced Forklift Operators for a logistics client in St. Louis, MO. 

Forklift Operators are responsible for safely and efficiently locating, moving, stacking, and tracking products while meeting quality and productivity standards. Reliable personal transportation is required, as candidates may need to work at both STL Buske locations based on operational needs. Advance notice will be provided for location assignments.

Duties and Responsibilities
Operate a variety of forklifts and packing machinery safely and efficiently

Meet inbound and outbound shipping schedules

Work as part of a team to load and unload materials

Accurately pick, pack, check, and load/unload products

Move materials packed on pallets or in crates throughout the facility

Stack loads correctly following inventory-control instructions

Inspect machinery for maintenance and report any safety issues immediately

Keep accurate production records and complete required documentation

Maintain compliance with company safety and quality policies

Perform other warehouse and material handling duties as assigned

Education and Experience
Minimum 1 year of forklift or warehouse experience

RF scanner experience preferred

OSHA forklift certification or equivalent operating experience preferred

Key Qualifications
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

Basic computer and math skills

Ability to take direction from multiple supervisors

Organized, dependable, and able to prioritize workload efficiently

Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines

Willingness to work overtime as needed

Team-oriented attitude with the ability to be cross-trained

Physical Demands
Regularly required to stand, walk, and lift throughout the shift

Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs (with or without reasonable accommodation)

Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach as needed

Must have normal color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
