Job Title: QA Technician

Job Overview:
Join our team as a QA Technician, where your expertise ensures the highest standards of food safety, quality, and compliance. In this vital role, you’ll monitor production processes, verify ingredients, and maintain accurate documentation to uphold our commitment to excellence. If you have a keen eye for detail, problem-solving skills, and a passion for food safety, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Recognize, document, and communicate all analytical, quality, and food safety evaluations and processing checks throughout production.
• Monitor production lines for deviations, investigate their causes, and implement effective corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Enforce strict adherence to quality and food safety practices, including GMPs, SSOPs, and allergen controls, from storage to shipping.
• Ensure all records and documentation are complete, accurate, and compliant with regulatory standards.
• Conduct hourly product weight checks and verify ingredient lot numbers for traceability, maintaining thorough ingredient documentation.
• Collaborate with third-party auditors by providing requested information and supporting audit processes.
• Address and resolve non-conformance issues promptly, documenting corrective measures taken.
• Train and support production personnel on quality assurance procedures and objectives to promote a culture of quality.
• Assist management in maintaining health and safety standards, including communication with USDA inspectors.
• Perform other quality control duties as assigned to support overall production and compliance.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Food Quality Control and Food Safety within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven problem-solving skills and perseverance in executing quality functions.
• Ability to work weekends and extended shifts, including 6 PM to 4 AM schedules.
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance procedures specific to the food industry.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Ability to effectively utilize personal protective equipment and follow safety protocols.
• Excellent team-oriented communication skills.
