Shipping Clerk

Midway Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Warehouse Clerk for a 2nd shift opportunity in Antioch, IL. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment and enjoys working with inventory, shipping, and data entry processes.

The Warehouse Clerk will be responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, maintaining accurate records, assisting with shipping and receiving documentation, and ensuring inventory accuracy. Strong attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with warehouse staff are essential for success in this role.

Location: Antioch, IL
Schedule: 2:50pm – 11:10pm
Position Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire
Pay Rate: Starting at $18.00 per hour
 

• Generate bills of lading for outbound shipments
• Process orders using an ERP system
• Assist truck drivers by locating orders and assigning dock doors
• Notify drivers when freight is loaded and ready
• Release and print next-day orders, including copies and labels
• Respond to internal and external emails
• Maintain accurate shipping documentation

• 1–3 years of administrative or clerical experience (manufacturing preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work overtime as needed
