Job OverviewThe Shipping and Receiving Associate is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy, proper documentation, and timely delivery. This role includes inspecting shipments, preparing orders for dispatch, maintaining inventory records, and assisting with loading and unloading trucks. The associate also helps keep the warehouse organized and reports any discrepancies, damaged goods, or safety concerns to the supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.

• Prepare and process outgoing shipments, including packing, labeling, and documentation.

• Maintain accurate shipment and inventory records in the system.

• Coordinate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries.

• Load and unload trucks safely using forklifts or other warehouse equipment as needed.

• Organize warehouse and storage areas to maintain efficiency and safety.

• Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation.

• Report any discrepancies, damaged goods, or safety concerns to the supervisor.

Work Environment

• Not a cold environment
• Standing/ Sitting for full 8-hour shift
• Repetitive hand movements
• Fast-paced production setting
• Lifting up to 40 lbs as needed
