Job Overview

The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating forklifts to move, load, and unload materials within the warehouse or production facility. This role supports daily operations by ensuring products are transported efficiently, inventory is handled accurately, and the warehouse remains organized and safe. The operator will work closely with warehouse and production teams to maintain workflow and meet operational goals.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to move materials and products throughout the warehouse or production area.

• Load and unload trucks while ensuring materials are handled safely and securely.

• Transport raw materials and finished goods to designated storage or production areas.

• Inspect forklifts and equipment before use and report any maintenance or safety issues.

• Maintain accurate inventory movement and documentation as required.

• Assist with organizing warehouse storage areas to maintain efficiency and safety.

• Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines when operating equipment.

• Support general warehouse duties as needed.

• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding workflow and material needs.

Work Environment

• Fast-paced warehouse environment

• Standing and operating equipment for extended periods

• Repetitive movements throughout the shift

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs as needed

Requirements

• Previous forklift operating experience preferred

• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment

• Strong attention to safety and detail

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Reliable transportation
