Location: Beloit, WI
Pay: $21.00/hour
Shift: 1st Shift | 7am-3pm
Hours: 40 hours/week + overtime as needed

Position Overview

Midway Staffing is seeking a skilled and safety-driven Forklift Operator I to join our team in Beloit, WI. This role involves operating powered industrial vehicles (PIVs) to safely move, stage, and manage inventory while maintaining accuracy and compliance with company standards.

Equipment You Will Operate

• Cherry Pickers (up to ~35’)

• Stand-Up Forklifts

• Walkie Riders

• Sit-Down Forklifts

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quality checks on inbound and outbound shipments

• Safely move, stack, and stage products using powered equipment

• Complete ERP transactions for shipping and receiving

• Utilize RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

• Maintain accurate inventory records

• Handle hazardous materials per safety guidelines

• Follow 5S safety and housekeeping standards

• Complete all required safety training and use PPE properly

• Conduct daily equipment inspections and safety checks

• Assist with receiving and loading as needed

• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• 1+ year of forklift experience in a warehouse or similar environment

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 75 lbs

• Able to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods

• Must speak and read English

• Basic math skills required

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED

• Experience operating:

• Stand-up reach

• Sit-down forklift

• Order picker

• Pallet jack

• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards

• Experience with RF scanners and WMS

• Forklift certification (preferred but not required with experience)
