Paint Booth Sprayer

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Paint Booth Sprayer to join our sign manufacturing team in Denton, Texas. This role is responsible for preparing surfaces, mixing paint, and applying high-quality finishes to metal and aluminum signage components. The ideal candidate will have experience with industrial or automotive spray painting and a strong attention to detail to ensure durable finishes that meet customer specifications

Job Title: Paint Booth Sprayer
Location: Denton, Texas
Pay: $18–$25 per hour
Schedule: Four 10-hour days, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (schedule may rotate between Monday–Thursday or Tuesday–Friday)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and applying primer as required.

• Mix and match paint colors to achieve the correct finish and consistency.

• Operate and maintain spray guns, paint booths, and related painting equipment.

• Apply paint evenly and efficiently to metal, aluminum, and fabricated signage materials.

• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met and perform touch-ups when needed.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe paint booth environment.

• Follow all safety procedures when handling paints, chemicals, and ventilation systems.

• Work closely with production and fabrication teams to meet project deadlines and specifications.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an industrial or automotive paint sprayer preferred.

• Familiarity with HVLP spray guns, paint mixing systems, and color matching.

• Ability to read and interpret work orders, drawings, and color requirements.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and proper PPE usage.

Preferred Experience

• Experience painting signs, metal structures, or custom fabrications.

• Knowledge of powder coating or other finishing techniques.

• Experience applying multi-stage coatings or specialty finishes.

• Familiarity with paint systems such as Matthews Paint, PPG, or AkzoNobel.
