Inventory Specialist

Job Title: Inventory Specialist
Pay Rate: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Inventory Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, performing cycle counts, and ensuring proper inventory control procedures are followed. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, hands-on inventory experience, and a commitment to accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy

• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner

• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP systems

• Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages or overages to leadership

• Assist with receiving, stocking, and auditing inventory as needed

• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of materials

• Collaborate with operations, shipping, and receiving teams to maintain inventory integrity

• Generate inventory reports and provide data analysis to support decision-making

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• 3–5 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a related field required

• Experience with WMS, ERP systems, or inventory tracking software

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic computer skills

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Strong communication and organizational skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly

• Comfortable working in a cold warehouse environment, which may include varying temperatures
