Warehouse Associate

Location: Westhampton, NJ
Pay Rate: $20.90/hour

Schedule: Sunday–Thursday | 5:00 PM – 1:30 AM
Overtime may extend the shift to approximately 3:30 AM based on operational needs.

Position Summary

A growing distribution operation is looking for a reliable Warehouse Associate to support evening fulfillment activities. This role focuses on order selection, inventory movement, and shipment preparation using powered warehouse equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Receive incoming product and stock materials in designated locations.

• Replenish forward pick areas from reserve inventory.

• Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanning technology.

• Pack, verify, and stage orders for outbound shipment.

• Process returned merchandise and update system records.

• Perform routine cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy initiatives.

• Consolidate and prepare materials for daily shipping schedules.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

• Operate powered equipment to transport and position product throughout the facility.

• Utilize warehouse computers or data terminals to complete transactions and documentation.

Equipment Used

• Double-length ride-on electric pallet jack

• Additional equipment may include forklifts or order pickers as needed.
  Candidates must have experience operating powered equipment—manual pallet jack–only experience is not sufficient.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 40–60 lbs on a continuous basis.

• Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and climbing.

• Standing and walking for the duration of the shift in an active warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• Prior experience operating powered material-handling equipment required.

• Experience with RF scanners or warehouse management systems preferred.

• Ability to complete equipment certification and safety training.

• Strong attention to detail and order accuracy.

• Basic computer proficiency for inventory and shipping tasks.

• Good communication skills and ability to work within a team-oriented environment
