Location: Agawam, MA.
Work Schedule: Onsite - Monday through Friday

What You Will Do:
- Release products for shipping by verifying proper documentation and certifications per customer requirements
- Understand and apply GD&T principles to ensure dimensional accuracy
- Proficiently perform dimensional verification of PPAP and first article parts
- Support the production floor by interpreting and developing manufacturing documentation and teaching proper measuring techniques
- Conduct technical inspections of raw materials upon receipt according to established procedures
- Collect, analyze, and present quality metrics to identify areas for improvement
- Program and operate FARO & Micro-Vu measurement equipment with confidence
- Participate in department meetings and collaborate effectively with team members
- Prioritize and manage work orders within the QA lab environment
- Audit internal processes for dimensional workmanship and documentation accuracy
- Develop calibration procedures and ensure measuring equipment remains compliant with ISO standards
- Work toward closed-loop corrective actions in response to customer complaints and internal issues
- Provide on-the-job training to new inspectors, fostering team growth and continuous learning
- Maintain a high standard of quality output by working efficiently and without issues
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 3+ years hands-on inspection experience in a metal fabrication environment or similar manufacturing setting
- Strong knowledge of GD&T concepts and dimensional verification techniques
- Proficiency in programming and operating FARO & Micro-Vu measurement devices (desired)
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, instructions, and memos
- Excellent communication skills for team collaboration and reporting
- Skilled in basic math, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing, along with calculating rates, ratios, and percentages
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite, email communication, and internet research
Nice to Have Skills:
- Certification as a Quality Technician or similar certification
- Experience in developing calibration procedures and conducting equipment calibration
- Background in ISO standards compliance and internal audits
- Knowledge of programming for measurement equipment such as FARO and Micro-Vu
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Associate degree in a related technical field preferred
- 3+ years of experience in a quality inspection role within a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment operating under a continuous improvement QMS
Other Requirements:
- Onsite position with a Monday through Friday schedule
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks such as standing, sitting, bending, and climbing as needed
- Willingness to work near mechanical parts and vibrations, with adherence to safety protocols
- Valid vision closely matching job requirements, including color and depth perception
