Are you a seasoned quality professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for manufacturing precision? Client is seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector III to play a vital role in supporting our site’s manufacturing practices. In this pivotal position, you will develop, evaluate, and continually improve quality processes, ensuring every product meets or exceeds customer expectations. Your expertise will help uphold our commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence, making a direct impact on our business success.

What You’ll Bring to the Table:

• Proficiency in using measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, steel rulers, pin gages, surface plates, and height gauges
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
• Strong visual inspection skills to assess product quality against customer specifications
• Experience inspecting and testing in-process and finished products
• Competence in documenting inspection results and generating reports
• Skill in identifying and quarantining non-conforming products, including generating non-conformance reports
• Knowledge of inspecting and approving incoming materials based on specifications
• Familiarity with dimensional verification, PPAP, and 1st article inspection processes
• Ability to operate FARO & Micro-Vu measurement equipment effectively
• Supportive teamwork skills to assist production with measurement techniques and manufacturing documentation
• Basic understanding of calibration procedures and ISO standards
• Capacity to lead and train lower-level inspectors, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams
• Commitment to safety standards and quality expectations

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with advanced laser measurement equipment
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and process improvement
• Prior involvement in internal audits and corrective action procedures
• Familiarity with vendor and customer complaint resolution

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High school diploma required; associate degree in a related field preferred
• At least 5 years of experience in a metal fabrication environment, particularly within a continuous improvement QMS framework
• Hands-on inspection experience and familiarity with industry safety standards

Other Requirements:

• Onsite position with a Monday through Friday schedule
• Ability to work near moving mechanical parts and vibration; occasional exposure to electrical shock
• Physical capability to stand, sit, and lift up to 25 pounds; ability to perform detailed visual work
