Employment Type: Direct Hire
Location: Southampton, PA
Pay Rate: $25-$30 per hour
Work Schedule - Onsite - Monday through Friday

Are you passionate about precision, quality, and continuous improvement? Client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Inspector III to play a vital role in ensuring our manufacturing processes meet the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. In this critical position, you'll leverage your expertise to develop, evaluate, and refine inspection practices, helping us deliver products that exceed expectations every time.

What You’ll Do:

  • Use advanced measuring devices including Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and hardness testers to ensure product compliance.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and solid models with confidence.
  • Conduct visual inspections and perform first piece, in-process, and final inspections to verify quality.
  • Document inspection results accurately in reports and logs, and identify and quarantine non-conforming products.
  • Generate and analyze non-conformance reports, contributing to root cause analysis and resolution.
  • Maintain measurement equipment, performing calibration and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Inspect and approve incoming materials, ensuring they meet specifications before use.
  • Support department meetings and team initiatives.
  • Inspect, approve, and release products for shipment, verifying proper documentation and certifications.
  • Collaborate on corrective actions for customer complaints, vendor issues, and internal process improvements.
  • Participate in internal process audits, dimensional checks, and documentation verifications.
  • Complete Product Part Approval Process (PPAP) and 1st article documentation.
  • Lead, mentor, and train Level I and II inspectors to foster team growth and performance excellence.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years hands-on inspection experience in an AS9100 or CNC machining environment.
  • Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Proficiency with PC-DMIS and SolidWorks is a plus.
  • Excellent skills with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to read blueprints and solid models accurately.
  • Knowledge of calibration procedures and measurement equipment maintenance.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience with complex inspection systems and advanced metrology tools.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing process audits and corrective action procedures.
  • Advanced training or certifications in quality inspection or related fields.

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma required; Associate degree or higher in a related field preferred.
  • Extensive experience (5+ years) in quality inspection within manufacturing settings involving aerospace, CNC machining, or similar high-precision industries.

Other Requirements:

  • Onsite work environment with exposure to moving mechanical parts and moderate to loud noise levels.
  • Ability to stand, sit, and handle physical tasks including lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Willingness to support calibration, audits, and team collaboration as needed.
