Material Operator

We are looking for motivated individuals for a Reach Truck Operator in Bolingbrook, IL. In this role you are  responsible for safely operating reach trucks and other material-handling equipment to move, store, and stage products within the warehouse. This role ensures accurate order fulfillment while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity. The position supports inbound, outbound, and inventory operations.

Essential Job Functions

• Operate reach truck equipment to pick, move, and store materials in racking systems

• Accurately pick and stage products according to order requirements

• Load and unload shipments while ensuring product integrity

• Transport materials to designated warehouse locations

• Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and confirm order accuracy

• Follow all warehouse procedures, safety guidelines, and work instructions

• Perform routine equipment checks and report any issues or malfunctions

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Assist with replenishment, put-away, and restocking activities

• Identify and report inventory discrepancies, damages, or safety concerns

• Communicate effectively with team members, leads, and supervisors

• Perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse environment

• Valid certification or proven ability to safely operate reach truck equipment

• Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS)

• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials throughout the shift

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols

• Reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Basic math skills, including counting and simple calculations

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Flexibility to perform additional tasks as needed
