Maintenance Technician – Manufacturing

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience working with industrial equipment who can work independently while maintaining safety and efficiency standards.

Location: Pingree Grove, IL
Schedule: Sunday – Thursday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Pay rate: Up to $28.00/hr (based on experience)

Duties:

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and equipment repairs
• Operate equipment including forklift, scissor lift, and pallet jack
• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and maintenance procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation of repairs, work orders, and equipment status
• Prioritize and manage multiple maintenance tasks in a dynamic environment

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting
• Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and fluid power systems
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Ability to use tools, diagnostic equipment, and read technical documentation
• Basic computer skills and ability to document work performed
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to lift, bend, stand, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in food manufacturing environments (USDA, FDA, SQF standards)
• Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Job Hazard Analysis, and safety procedures
• Basic knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and relay logic
• Welding experience (MIG, TIG, gas, or electric)
