2nd Shift Quality Inspector

Quality Inspector - 2nd Shift

The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet company and customer quality standards. This role plays a key part in identifying defects, maintaining compliance, and supporting continuous improvement efforts during 2nd shift operations.

Location: Kenosha, WI
Schedule: Monday - Thursday| 1:30 PM - 12:00 AM
Pay Rate: $21.50/hour

Duties:

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process parts, and finished goods
• Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and comparators
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records
• Identify defects, non-conformances, and deviations from specifications
• Communicate quality issues to production and leadership teams
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with company standards, customer requirements, and regulations (ISO, GMP, etc.)
• Conduct first article, in-process, and final inspections
• Maintain a clean and organized inspection area

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1–3 years of quality inspection or manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documents
• Experience using precision measuring instruments
• Basic math skills (fractions, decimals, measurements)
• Familiarity with quality standards and procedures

Work Environment & PPE:

• Manufacturing/production setting
• Standing for extended periods
• Occasional lifting (up to 30–50 lbs)
• Exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures
