Custodian- 1st Shift

The Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment within the facility. This role ensures all assigned areas are properly cleaned, sanitized, and maintained to support daily operations and uphold company standards.

Location: Kenosha, WI
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM
Pay Rate: $20.50/hour

Duties:

• Clean and sanitize offices, restrooms, break rooms, hallways, and production areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces
• Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly
• Restock supplies such as paper products, soap, and sanitizers
• Clean windows, glass surfaces, and fixtures as needed
• Follow cleaning schedules and complete assigned tasks efficiently
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and according to guidelines
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns to management
• Support basic facility upkeep and minor maintenance tasks as needed
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred but not required
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Basic knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment
• Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely

Work Environment & PPE:

• Office, warehouse, or industrial setting
• Standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift
• Lifting up to 30–50 lbs as needed
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals and varying temperatures
