Quality Lead - 2nd Shift
The Quality Lead is responsible for overseeing quality operations during the 2nd shift, ensuring products meet company standards and customer requirements. This role supports production teams, enforces quality procedures, leads inspections, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to maintain high levels of product quality and compliance.
Location: Kenosha, WI
Schedule: Monday - Thursday | 1:30 PM - 12:00 AM
Pay Rate: $24.50/hour
Duties:
- Lead and support quality inspectors and production staff during 2nd shift operations
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
- Perform and oversee inspections, audits, and testing of materials and finished products
- Identify defects, non-conformances, and root causes; implement corrective actions
- Ensure adherence to GMP, ISO, and safety regulations
- Review and maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports and logs
- Train and mentor team members on quality procedures and best practices
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and management to resolve quality issues
- Assist in continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization
- Communicate shift performance, issues, and updates to leadership and incoming teams
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 8 years of experience in quality control, quality assurance, or manufacturing
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of quality standards (ISO, GMP, etc.)
- Experience with inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality systems
Work Environment & PPE:
- Manufacturing/production setting
- Standing, walking, and occasional lifting may be required
- Exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures
