Shipping Clerk

Shipping Clerk – 1st Shift | Pingree Grove, IL
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Overtime: Must be available to work additional hours as needed

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping Clerk to support daily warehouse shipping operations. This role is responsible for preparing, processing, and coordinating outgoing shipments to ensure accurate, timely, and safe delivery of products.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and process shipping orders for outgoing shipments
• Verify items against packing slips and customer orders
• Print and apply shipping labels and documentation
• Schedule pickups with carriers (UPS, FedEx, LTL, etc.)
• Enter shipping data into internal systems accurately
• Pack, weigh, and measure shipments
• Stage and organize outbound orders for shipment
• Assist with loading shipments when needed
• Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation
• Communicate effectively with warehouse and customer service teams
• Follow all safety and quality procedures

Requirements

• Previous shipping, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred
• Basic computer skills and data entry experience
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Must be dependable and flexible with overtime
