2nd Shift Core Machine Operator

Core Assembler - 2nd Shift

The Core Assembler is responsible for assembling components and cores according to specifications, ensuring product quality and production efficiency. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Location: Kenosha, WI
Schedule: Monday - Thursday| 1:30 PM - 12:00 AM
Pay Rate: $21.50/hour

Duties:

• Assemble cores and related components following work instructions and blueprints
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic assembly equipment
• Inspect parts and finished assemblies for quality and accuracy
• Follow standardized procedures to meet production goals and deadlines
• Identify defects or inconsistencies and report issues to supervisors
• Maintain a clean and organized work area (5S standards)
• Perform basic measurements using tools such as tape measures, gauges, or calipers
• Package completed assemblies and prepare them for the next stage of production
• Follow all safety guidelines and proper use of PPE
• Assist with other production tasks as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to read basic blueprints and work instructions
• Basic math skills (measurements, counting, simple calculations)
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely

Work Environment & PPE:

• Manufacturing/production setting
• Standing for extended periods
• Repetitive hand and arm movements
• Lifting up to 30–50 lbs as needed
• Exposure to noise, machinery, and varying temperatures
