Production Expeditor - 2nd Shift

The Production Expeditor is responsible for coordinating and accelerating the flow of materials, parts, and work orders throughout the production process. This role ensures that production schedules are met by minimizing delays, communicating across departments, and supporting efficient workflow during 2nd shift operations.

Location: Kenosha, WI
Schedule: Monday - Thursday| 1:30 PM - 12:00 AM
Pay Rate: $21.50/hour

Duties:

• Monitor production schedules and track progress of work orders on the floor
• Coordinate the movement of materials, components, and finished goods between departments
• Identify bottlenecks or delays and take action to keep production on schedule
• Communicate with production, quality, warehouse, and maintenance teams to resolve issues
• Prioritize jobs and adjust workflow based on production demands
• Ensure materials and parts are available at workstations when needed
• Update production systems, logs, and reports accurately
• Assist with inventory tracking and material handling as needed
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime
• Follow all safety policies and procedures

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1–3 years of manufacturing, production coordination, or expediting experience preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Basic computer skills (ERP systems, Microsoft Office)
• Ability to read work orders, schedules, and production documents
• Forklift experience is a plus

Work Environment & PPE:
