Machine Operator I & II

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Bindery Operator II to join our production team. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining bindery equipment to produce high-quality finished printed materials. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Location: Denton, TX
Schedule: 1st Shift 6:00 AM -6:00 PM or 3rd Shift 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Rotating 12-hour shifts, 223 schedule)
Pay Rate: $20 – $27/hour DOE

Duties:

• Set up, adjust, and operate bindery machinery including cutters, folders, collators, stitchers, and binding/gluing machines
• Monitor production quality, output, and efficiency while ensuring all products meet specifications
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and cleaning of equipment according to SOPs
• Coordinate multiple machine workstations and assist in directing production crew activities

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED with experience as a Bindery/Cutter Operator or similar role
• Knowledge of operating cutting and binding equipment (MBO folder and vacuum table experience preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret job specifications and perform accurate machine setups
• Strong attention to detail, mechanical skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
